In this illustrated talk, Lorraine shares inspiring examples of pocket pollinator patches in various contexts, and outlines some of the special challenges and key benefits of these small-scale landscape projects.
Also included will be the step-by-step process Lorraine took, with volunteers, to create the Portland Place Pollinator Patch on an urban boulevard—from grant writing to design, soil preparation, planting and maintenance.
