LBM169: NEW-Hiring & Managing Outside Contractors
Using outside contractors is a reality for every business.
This seminar will provide participants the opportunity to gain applicable knowledge as it pertains to hiring and how best to manage outside contractors when work is being performed on your job site.
Recognizing that both contracting and contracting organizations have shared responsibilities on the job site and have fulfilled their due diligence to protect the health and safety of workers. Participant will gain a better understanding into determining what the legislated site requirements are that need to be implemented.
Participants will come away able to:
*Navigate "need to know" legislation related to hiring and managing contractors.
*Identify and describe critical steps involved with contractor requirement.
*Determine essential documentation and contractor training requirements that must be in place.
*Summarize "roles and responsibilities" of those involved with the on-site contractor management function.
*Assess and complete company specific documentation supporting contractor safety program.
