Landscape surroundings are changing and customers are asking for more sustainable ways of caring for their properties.
This seminar will provide environmentally sound solutions for landscape designers and contractors, reviewing the wide variety of native herbaceous and woody plant species available.
Learn what native wildflowers, grasses and shrubs in Ontario are suitable for small or large landscaping projects, and how they can be effectively combined with non-native species to create ornamental gardens pollinator gardens and rain gardens.
There are hundreds of native species available to the landscape professional, but only a fraction is used. Participants will learn what plants work well together, and where native plants can be sourced.
