LC068: Fundamentals of Working with Flagstone
Used for paving, walkways, driveways, and patios. It can require meticulous skill and patience to install.
Bringing years of stone experience, the instructor will help develop your product knowledge and installation skills further – helping you and your team get closer to piecing the job together.
Topics covered include: Various types of flagstones, understanding sizes, and patterns, wet and dry lay techniques, how to tuck point and sponge finish mortar joints.
A two-day seminar, there will be a small hands-on project worked on during these two days. Participants are required to bring the appropriate PPE to participate
Tools needed to participate: Two and four-foot level, hammer for hitting steel chisels, one chisel meant for stone, trowel, hand brush, and one-foot square. Knee pads or a kneeling pad are recommended.
