This 3-day seminar is an in-depth exploration in learning advanced and effective SketchUp skills and techniques as an interactive landscape design tool. This innovative approach as “Designing In 3D” helps landscape designer/architects to quickly conceptualize and present their design vision by interactively sculpting and grading directly in 3D, rather than the traditional plan and section-elevation design approach.
This seminar involves both theory and technical skills training. This unique 3D training method is solely designed by Instructor Mansoor Ma based on his twenty years of design communication and landscape architectural experience. Participants will be further enriched by instructor's demonstrations and short lectures on specific topics and beyond.
Upon completion of the seminar, participants will have a clear understanding of the benefits behind the “Designing in 3D” approach, and how to implement this approach into your own design projects --- to minimize mistakes and saves time early in the design process.
Note: This seminar is intended for participants who have already attended the Intro (LD024) and Intermediate seminar (LD026); or has equivalent training and experience as outlined in these seminars.
Note: Seminar will be taught through Windows O/S, but Mac O/S can also be used.
Participants need to bring:A laptop with SketchUp Pro installed prior to the seminar (a free trial is available for 30 days, please download the free trial a few days prior to the seminar if you are unsure you want to purchase SketchUp PRO).
