LD040: NEW- Integrating Watershapes into the Landscape
Participants will review design principles used to create natural, award winning watershapes that have an emotional component, and see them implemented in built projects. The presenter will offer a detailed discussion on what design principles need to be determined to create a successful project or not.
Key design principles covered:
-Element integration

-Elevation change
-Depth of field
-Pedestrian flow
-Visual access
-Frame the views
Common design mistakes covered;
-How to effectively blend elements together
-How to become better at visualizing your whole environment

Participants will come away with a better understanding of how to pull the whole design together,integrating each element of the project.
