The introductory portion of this session is to initiate the mental health conversation. The goal is to begin to raise mental health literacy and awareness, better understand stigma associated with mental health issues, and recognize that workplace mental health is fundamental to the safety, health and well-being of our workforce.

The Awareness portion is a two-hour, solution that focuses on reducing the stigma of workplace mental health and discussing how we can begin to work towards creating both physically and mentally safe and healthy workplaces. By focusing on the 13 workplace factors outlined in The National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, participants will understand the various elements that impact, both positively and negatively, their organization's workplace mental health.
