LD027: Portfolio Preparations: Grading, Drainage and Construction Details
Seminar Cancelled
Technical drawings such as construction details, grading and drainage plans have presented some of the biggest challenges Landscape Designers and CLD candidates face when developing a conceptual design into a construction plan. The information required to clearly communicate the intent of a design for a landscape contractor can be challenging to determine. This one-day seminar will provide attendees with the opportunity to assess the technical information they should collect from a residential site before starting a design and how to communicate their intent to a landscape contractor through complete and concise details and drainage plans.
Who should attend: CLD candidates who want to improve their portfolios and landscape designers who want to communicate how to build their projects in a professional style. CLD applicants are welcome to bring details and drainage plans and/or questions in relation to their portfolio submissions to review at the end of the class.
What to bring: Imperial architectural scale, graph paper, technical pencil, set squares or laptop with CAD program.
