Message from Harry: I am writing to you as your provincial Chair of the Landscape Industry Certification Committee in Ontario. You worked hard to get your Landscape Industry Certification designation, so why not maintain it? Does maintaining your designation seem like a complicated process? Perhaps you haven’t participated in any professional development seminars or attended Conferences or events offered by Landscape Ontario in several years. Maybe you don't really understand the Continuing Education Units CEUs,and collecting them seems complicated. Does this sound familiar? Do you know that renewing your designation only takes about 30 minutes? And collecting and tracking CEUs is not quite as complicated as you might think! Have you helped out at an industry event? Have you read industry or business books to help you in your job? Taken college courses? Participated in course or seminars/ events offered by other horticulture and landscape related organizations. All of these things can count as CEUs. Being certified identifies you as a leader in the industry, and sets industry standards. Renew your certification today!
