LP001: New-Woody Plants: Their Appeal and Uses in the Landscape
This popular seminar will provide participants with an in-depth look at a large variety of trees, shrubs and evergreens in the landscape. It will cover the characteristics of native versus non-natives, plant installation for suitability, maintaining and pruning techniques, and choosing the right plant for difficult situations such as salt exposure, clay or sandy soil, seasonal flooding or dry conditions. There's always a right plant for each place. This seminar is for anyone with a desire to know more about woody plants, or is looking for more confidence when recommending them to customers. Participants are urged to bring their questions.
