LG041: NEW-Fusion Landscape Professional (FLP) Training and Certification
The Fusion Landscape Professional (FLP) training and certification program provides designers and contractors with the tools and knowledge to promote and provide aesthetically pleasing landscape services that utilize lot level stormwater and enhance the environment.

The FLP program focuses on skills in designing, constructing and maintaining Fusion landscapes that will help participants to meet the needs of a variety of clients, while increasing the sustainability of our communities. By becoming a certified Fusion Landscape Professional, you are opening the door to new business opportunities and ensuring you are keeping up to date with an evolving landscape industry.

The FLP program features two days of in-class instruction with hands-on components. The training will Include:
• Theory and municipal strategies;
• The science behind Fusion landscaping;
• Selling Fusion landscapes;
• Site inventory, analysis and planning Fusion landscapes;
• Designing, constructing and maintaining Fusion landscapes;
• Setting yourself up for success with Fusion landscapes.

Prerequisites: A combined education/career experience in the landscape/horticulture profession (design, construction or maintenance) of 10 years is recommended.

Study Manual: Participants will receive the Fusion Landscape Professional Study Manual prior to the training seminar. Reviewing it ahead of time is strongly recommended.
***Please note: The Study Manual will be distributed three weeks prior to the training seminar. Once distributed, a non-refundable $110.00 fee will apply if you cancel your registration.

Exam: In order to become FLP certified, participants will be required to write an exam. Date and location TBD.
