LP006: Creating Sustainable Landscapes
Low maintenance, chemical-free landscapes using Ontario's native plants - landscape maintenance is changing and clients are looking for more sustainable ways of caring for their properties. This seminar will provide environmentally - sound solutions for landscape designers and contractors, discussing the wide variety of herbaceous and woody plant species for erosion-prone and problem sites. Native plant materials will be the focus in creating both functional landscapes and attractive private sanctuaries that support butterflies and birds. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to incorporate native plants into their next residential or public landscape project.
