Ontario Tree Climbing Championship (OTCC)

Each year, ISA Ontario hosts the Ontario Tree Climbing Championship where arborists from across the province compete to crown Ontario's top climbers.

Join us for this FUN, FREE event! Watch climbers showcase their incredible tree climbing skills, visit a tradeshow featuring industry vendors, attend educational workshops, and YOU can even take a turn climbing a tree using standard equipment under the guidance of a professional arborist!

Competitors climb in five preliminary events including a timed speed climb, a targeted throwline toss, a work climb, an ascent event using specialized equipment and an aerial rescue. Each challenge gives climbers a chance to demonstrate how professional arborists work safely and efficiently in our trees. And it all leads up to the final Masters Challenge to crown the top male and female climbers in Ontario!

Specific event times:
Friday, September 20, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
