April 1, 2017 - Long-time resident of Richmond Hill and owner of Richview Nursery. John Jansen passed away peacefully March 31, 2017 at home. Beloved husband of Sylvia. Good father of Ingrid (Patrick) Sayers, Mary Ann (Rudy) Dietrich and Henry Jansen. Opa of Jimmy (Erica), Alex (Julie), Sonja and Jessica. John worked closely with the Horticultural Society and Parks Department providing the baskets and barrels for the streets of Richmond Hill for many years. The Horticultural express their appreciation by making him an Honorary member.

Visitations will be held Apr. 3, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 333 Davis Dr., Newmarket, Ont. (map and directions).

Funeral service will be held at the same location, Apr. 4 at 1 p.m.
