Visit and learn from successful Canadian independent garden centres, while also touring some of the world's most incredible scenery!

The International Garden Centre Association’s 2017 Congress will be hosted by the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Home to the world famous Niagara Falls, the Niagara region is also known for its wineries, history and of course, its garden centres.

A Truly Canadian experience

The 2017 IGCA Congress in Niagara Falls is a must attend event for all garden retail enthusiasts. Delegates will experience more than the average Canadian tourist and learn from some of Canada’s best garden centres.

Garden Centres

Southern Ontario boasts a high concentration of garden retailers and nursery growers. This means that companies must be able to thrive in a competitive market. Each garden centre or nursery that we visit has developed something unique. Whether it means integrating into the history of their community, implementing environmental initiatives, or simply displaying their products in a new fun way, these retailers work hard to set themselves apart.

Urban Gardens

We will visit Toronto, Ontario's urban centre. Delegates will see urban garden centres, take a harbour cruise and more!

The Wine Region

Visit some of Ontario's largest garden centres and nurseries, finishing the day off with wine tasting.

Historical Gardens

Tour Toronto's botanical garden and then International Grower of the Year, Sheridan Nurseries.

Wildlife

Continue the garden centres tours, with more of Ontario's finest.  Then experience the Canadian wilderness & roast marshmallows over a bonfire.

Niagara Falls

See the world famous Niagara Falls and tour the scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake village.

Gala evening

The final day of the tour will close with “Canada 150: A Red Tie Affair” from 6:30 p.m. to midnight at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel, 5875 Falls Ave., Niagara Falls. Tickets are $199 per person. Plan to attend the IGCA Gala Dinner.
