Landscape Ontario welcomes Great Lakes Nursery and Landscape Leaders to the Niagara Region

Landscape Ontario is proud to host the annual Great Lakes Nursery and Landscape Leadership Conference from Sept. 22-24, 2025. This esteemed gathering will bring together executive leaders from nursery and landscape trade associations across the Great Lakes region for three days of collaborative discussion, strategic planning and peer-to-peer networking in the picturesque setting of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

This conference is a valuable platform for member associations to address shared challenges, explore innovative solutions, and stay at the forefront of industry trends and legislative issues. Participating associations include representatives from: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and the host province of Ontario.

The event will commence with a special opening night dinner and reception at the state-of-the-art Landscape Ontario facility in Milton. This will offer attendees a unique opportunity to tour the home of the provincial association and connect in a relaxed atmosphere before the conference sessions begin.

The main conference will be held at the historic Pillar and Post in Niagara-on-the-Lake, offering a charming and sophisticated backdrop for the important discussions on the agenda. Over the course of the event, delegates will engage in a comprehensive program designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Hotel Accommodations

Getting Here

1. Fly into Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
   It takes approximately 90 minutes to drive from Pearson to the Pillar and Post in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. Recommendation: If flying into Pearson International Airport (Toronto) on Monday, September 22, plan to travel directly to the Landscape Ontario facility (approximately a 30 minute drive). Ride sharing and taxis are plentiful at Pearson International. We will have a coach to take everyone to the hotel following dinner. 

2. Fly into Buffalo International Airport
   It takes approximately an hour to drive from Buffalo International to get to the Pillar and Post in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. Only licensed cross-border taxis may bring you from Buffalo Airport to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Rental cars are an option. Please let us know if you will be going straight to the hotel on Monday (or earlier). We are arranging a shuttle from the Pillar and Post to the Landscape Ontario facility for the opening night dinner.
