In this full day seminar we will look at practical ways of designing and implementing beautiful and functional landscapes that also provide environmental benefits.
Participants will be provided with a wealth of specific ideas on how to create landscape systems that really work for property owners and for the environment.
Professional designers and contractors will understand the range of profitable business opportunities that open up to them by incorporating sustainable landscaping principles into their projects.
Topics will include: the use of permeable pavements, managing stormwater runoff, amending native soils, best practices for planting trees, pollinator gardens and great plant combinations using natives and nativars.
