LD026: Sketchup: An Intermediate Seminar
Seminar Cancelled
This seminar is a follow-up to the Introductory SketchUp seminar, or for users who can competently model and present a simple landscape design, but still want to further advance their skills in SketchUp.

It will introduce participants to more sophisticated SketchUp techniques as applied to the activities of a landscape designer, including terrain modeling, advanced techniques in applying textures to objects, working with component packs, using layers, shadowing, camera angles, basic rendering and general best practices. Upon completing this seminar, you will be able to design and present good quality landscape design work using advanced modeling techniques. The use of Layout (the "sister" software of SketchUp) will be demonstrated by the Instructor Mansoor Ma (OALA; Associate Principal of LANDinc) so that participants can grasp the concept for producing a set of professional quality drawing with ease.

Note: Seminar will be taught through Windows O/S (but participants using Mac O/S can follow along, but not supported)

Participants need to bring:
(1) A laptop with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Safari (for Mac laptops) installed
(2) Subscribe and install SketchUp Pro prior to attending the seminar.
Note:
A FREE trial is available for 30 days, so please download the free trial a few days prior to the seminar if you want to try out Sketchup PRO prior to the yearly subscription. Please go to Sketchup website sketchup.com/plans-and-pricing/sketchup-pro for detailed information about the software
